Job Summary
As an AI/ML Expert within a DevOps team your main objective is to lead the development, deployment, and optimization of machine learning models and AI solutions. You will be responsible for leveraging advanced algorithms and data science techniques to drive business insights and improve product performance.
Working closely with our Manager, Software Development and other team members, you will share your expertise to help the team achieve outstanding results and maintain a competitive edge. With this position, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact and drive innovation within the organization and the hockey analytics team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and algorithms.
Perform data processing, feature engineering, and model training.
Continuously monitor and improve performance of deployed models.
Provide mentorship and leadership to other data scientists and DevOps members. Qualifications
Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
Experience with deep learning, NLP, and reinforcement learning.
Proficiency in Python, including software design, development, and debugging.
Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, etc.) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
In depth knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and experience with distributed systems and architecture.
5+ years of experience
Working Conditions
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in office and arena environment that can be exciting, loud and distracting
- This is an onsite role; flexibility to work a minority of time remotely.
- Ability to work extended hours including late nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
- Ability to work prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift/carry/move up to 10lbs
- Ability to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures
- Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people
- Ability to move comfortable throughout the arena with minimal accommodations
