We are looking for an influential Senior Director to lead the exploration and development of new opportunities within the evolving landscape of sports entertainment. You will be part of a newly established group focused on creating groundbreaking experiences that resonate with future sports fans.

Reporting to the VP of Ventures Publishing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership in Innovation and Future-Focused Product Development:

• Prepare the path for new products and experiences that engage future sports fans.
• Lead the creation of product/experience solutions that use AI, LLMs, and the latest technologies to deliver transformative fan experiences.
• Build foundational conditions for success tailored to the evolving needs of the EA SPORTS audience.
• Build marketing roadmaps and strategies that anticipate shifts in sports and fan engagement.
• Revel in execution, creating rather than directing others.

1. Team and Stakeholder Leadership:

• Lead and inspire a versatile team, promoting expertise in the latest technologies and sports entertainment trends.
• Partner with stakeholders on near-term goals and create cohesive execution plans.
• Represent the Ventures Group in senior leadership discussions, encouraging belief in the vision for the future of sports entertainment.
• Use knowledge of sports data, trends, and fan behavior to identify opportunities and craft strategies.
• Translate complex data sets into actionable plans, ensuring innovation is grounded in fan needs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading innovation and growth initiatives in gaming, sports, or entertainment.
• Experience at the Director level in brand management, product development, or innovation-focused roles.
• Expertise in emerging technologies, including AI and next-generation engagement platforms.
• Passion for sports and understanding of sports data, licensing, and content.
• Ability to develop insight-driven, fan-centric strategies.
• Experience working with both qualitative and quantitative data.
• Experience managing teams in an innovation-focused environment.
• Global mindset with experience developing products for diverse markets.

Compensation and Benefits

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors.

• Base Salary Range: $193,600 - $271,700 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage.
